Why this programme exists

Many clinicians see women with symptoms that may be driven by hormonal change - yet hormone health has historically not been a core part of medical education. This can lead to delayed diagnoses, fragmented care, repeated consultations and inappropriate treatments.

Confidence in Hormones bridges the gap between knowing the evidence and using it confidently in real consultations.

What you’ll be able to do after completing the programme

  • Recognise common and less typical hormone-related presentations
  • Identify when hormones may be contributing to symptoms
  • Understand when to treat, how to monitor, and when to refer
  • Understand current evidence, guidance, and treatment options
  • Hold clearer conversations about benefits, risks, and shared decision-making
  • Create structured plans for follow-up and ongoing care
